This prototype was a one-day experiment for me, and is a boiled-down, gameplay-only version of the creation aspect of Gimbal Cop, sans the racing component. I plan to soon incorporate this into Gimbal Cop as the Architect-only game mode.
I want to keep this game (in prototype and Gimbal Cop form) as minimalistic as possible, but here are some ideas I'm planning to experiment with:
Pointer Powerup: : Give an on-screen arrow to the next Red.And generally, I'm hoping to keep to the design directive of: every event in the game creates a visual (and perhaps also aural) representation in the end result. Picking up Reds, shield-crashing, using the brakes, etc, should all create a prefab (model and/or sound) at / throughout the event. Not necessarily during the game, but definitely in the post-game review.
