To the Boston Festival of Indie Games, and Happy Indie Game Dev Day!
Ahoy Mateys!
We joyously proclaim that Gimbal Cop and the Case of the Objectionable Hypercorrection shall be at the world’s first and finest Boston Festival of Indie Games (FIG) this Saturday, the 22nd of September! We are honored to be selected as part of the Digital Games Showcase at FIG.
Set in the lovely EG&G Education Center (Building 34) in Cambridge, MA (around Kendall Square), FIG was set up by a multitude of hard-working, passionate indies and their supporters to showcase the awesome existing indie game development talent in Boston and her neighbors’ regions. We’re extremely excited to do our jig alongside some great games and their brilliant creators, with many of whom we’ve been mateys for some time now.
Please visit the FIG website for more details on registering, getting there, and the other developers who are showcasing. If you can make it over, Gimbal Cop will be bright, shiny, and ready to test over at booth 19 in the Digital Games Showcase. Don’t forget to visit the rest of the awesome indies, the board/tabletop game section and the Art showcase too!
We’ve been hard at work making this game as fun as it can be for the Digital Games Showcase and we cannot wait to have you guys play it. We assure you’ll have a great time at the event, especially with us! See you there!
For more information on the other games being showcased, please visit this link and get overly excited about what will be there (our infinite tentacle is getting moist, is yours?). Other logistical information can be found on their website. Don’t forget to register – FIG is 100% FREE TO ATTEND!
Do also entrust to your schedulizing operations, this year and forever after, that non-coincidentally the 22nd day of September is now also “Independent Game Development Day” in Massachusetts, making us ever more slippery with excitement to participate in an amazing state and community, and we too “urge all citizens of the Commonwealth to take cognizance of this event and participate fittingly in its observance“!
